Our Sash and Case Windows
Blend the traditional style, elegance and practicality of traditional windows whilst incorporating the advantage that modern technology has to offer. They add character to any building and can be customised to fit various styles and sizes. Made from sustainable timber, our windows have double glazing installed to save energy costs.

Manufactured from 100% PEFC certified hardwood.
Glazing
Security glazed to BS 6262 with low-e, warm edge spacer, argon gas filled units as standard.
Painted or Stained
Can be painted or stained to suit customer's requirements.
Traditional Weights or Spiral Balance Springs
Sashes can be counter weighted with traditional weights and pulley system or the modern spiral balance tension spring system.
Stainless steel to avoid corrosion.
All exposed steel components and fixings are stainless steel to avoid corrosion.
Ironmongery
Various ranges of ironmongery are available including key locking catches for added security.
Sash and Case windows with a tilt in system
We can also manufacture sash and case windows with a tilt in system, providing friction free sliding, whilst allowing the sashes to tilt inwards for easy cleaning from the inside of the building.
Any configuration of glass
Virtually any configuration of glass can be achieved, from simple one pane over one pane, to multiple panes and more elaborate designs incorporating curves, arches and decorative units.
Conservation
Can be manufactured to suit conservation area/local planning authority requirements.

Sash and Case Windows are classic in design and commonly found in traditional and older buildings throughout Scotland. They have two sliding sashes for ventilation and are easy to clean. Double-glazing upgrades can improve their energy efficiency while keeping their timeless aesthetic.

We use the finest stable hardwood including Red Grandis, Sapele, Meranti and Accoya. All timber used is FSC certified and selected for its outstanding
performance and environmental credentials.

Full factory spray finish with high performance water-based paint system to achieve a flawless paint finish. We can provide almost any paint colour or stain finish. Including dual colour windows with a different colour inside to outside.
